Dearie has left for Dallas earli dis morning... he will be attending a 3d conference from Mon to Wed... but cos of the time difference of 14hrs (Dallas's clock is slower than Singapore's by 14hrs), Dearie has to fly earli dis morning so as to reach in time for the conference on Mon...
So me n baby Charlotte wil b alone @ hm dis week til he comes hm nxt Sat... MIL has kindly volunteered to cm over n kip me company @ nites... whn me go to wk in the mornings, she wil oso return hm n in the evenings, she wil wait 4me @ Funan til me knock off wk n kip me company @ hm til the nxt morn... touched by her gesture but oso worried abt any possible conflicts between us esp nw dat Dearie is away, as in realli away... jus kip my fingers crossed... she wil b cmg over tonite n hv dines wif me...
Me nw 26 weeks into my pregnancy, went for monthly checkup wif Dr Lui 2 weeks ago... discovered to my amazement dat me hv gained 13 kg so far! OMG! got me worried n asked Dr Lui if my weight gain was of any concern... he said not to worry as my blood pressure was v normal... nevertheless wil stil watch my diet n weight gain cos wanna b able to shed off the excess fat easily after delivery... last week went for fortnightly checkup wif Jin Yi Shi... she said my tummy a bit too big for 25 weeks, n there's slight water retention in my legs to support my tummy... she immediately tot my MIL (who came wif us as she wanna noe exactly wat Jin Yi Shi had prescribed me) how to prepare soups to get rid of the water retention... MIL was pretty impressed wif her n said she wanna go along nxt time too so dat she can ask her wat me can n cant take during confinement.. =P
oso bot more clothes (pink ones nw) n other stuff for baby Charlotte wif MIL... baby Charlotte is so active nowadays... she seems to understand wat me n Dearie speak to her n responds to us by moving inside my tummy... last nite, b4 we cot a short nap, Dearie spoke to her, she was moving so 'violently'! when Dearie started telling her a bedtime story, she was v stil, like listening v attentively, then whn Dearie put his hand on my tummy, she started moving v 'violently' again, like v excited! haha! so cute! was telling Dearie me can jus sit on sofa/bed, do nothing but jus watch the ripples or bumps appearing on my tummy whneva she moves! haha!
b4 Dearie boarded the plane @ 6.20am dis morn, he sent me an email... when me was reading n replying to his email jus nw, she oso moved... seems to be telling me to convey to her Daddy dat she misses him too... heehee!
