Yesterdae, being Valentine's Dae, saw many shops selling roses, bears n gifts... oso saw a guy holding a bouquet of flowers wif bear walking along Capitol Building, holding his head low (guess shy fr the many curious stares he was receiving...) hee, find the sight v amusing n him being v sweet =P
Back @ office, saw many V-Dae gifts placed on the shelf behind the security guards at 1st floor, think they mus hv the gifts security cleared before they could bring up to the ladies upstairs... mine was nt one of them, cos Dearie oredi bot his 1st gift for me - a toy chick which actualli chirps n flaps its wings when u touch it! it looks like a real chick! brot it to office yesterdae, my colligs had fun touching n interacting wif it... some older ones commented they saw real ones whn they were young, but children nowadays wun hv the chance 2c them, except @ the zoos... actualli me oso played wif a real one whn young, cos Mum bot fr the market, think onli a few cents then... it moved around on the kitchen floor but died after a few daes... oso dunno y... wonder how Charlotte will react to the chick! =P
Had thot of nt buying anything for Dearie as Charlotte is the greatest gift possible liao... in fact, he thot dis was my intention all along n was veri surprised whn he realised me bot sth for him - a Goldlion belt, wif jus a buckle to grasp the belt in place, wif no holes per se... sth he has been wanting to get for himself, but din buy... so was surprised whn me got him dis gift =) my 2nd gift fr Dearie was a Precious Moments figurine of a couple on a couch (similar to the current us, before the addition to our family in Jun)... he had oso got me a Precious Moments figurine of an elderly couple on a couch flipping thru a foto album whn he proposed to me in May 05 (he had said then dat it would b the future us)... he said dat the last collection to our Precious Moments couch collection nw shld b the couple's proposal on a couch (cos datz how our proposal took place in 2005) hee! our collection seems 2b working backwards in time....
