Baobei is very attached to me... has been so since day one... maybe cos me spend more time wif her, compared to Dearie...
@ nites, she only wants me to rock her to sleep and soothe her cries... when she wakes up in the middle of her sleep and Dearie tries to soothe her cries, she will only cry and scream louder... sighz... me had to quickly take over and she'll calm down and go back to sleep... think she recognises scent... maybe Dearie should put on my clothes and carry her... haha!!
If Dearie carries her and she sees me, she will want me to carry her instead... if me walk away to do my stuff, she will start crying... there's been a couple of times when Dearie has to carry her wherever I go, so that she can keep me in sight and not cry... sighz...
She chooses people to feed her too... most of the times, itz me who feed her milk, n Dearie who feeds her solid food... Dearie can only try feeding her milk until she doesnt want n me will take over... we make it a pact that he feeds her solids so that he can at least bond wif her in this sense...
Everyday, me dun hv enuff sleep... luckily Dearie is supportive, he will wake up in the middle of nites to warm the milk for her while me feed her... he will wake up early to bring her downstairs for morning walks and buy breakfast on weekends so that me can sleep in... thanks Dearie!
often wonder to myself whethere this stickiness will persist? really hopes Baobei will grow outta it... else very tedious and tiring for me... Dearie oso feels 'useless' sometimes when she cries n cries even though he tries to pacify her... sighz...
