We took our 1st proper family photo on 29 Jun, b4 bringing Charlotte to my parents' place for her 1st visit. =) She has purposely curled her lips n made that cute little 'o' mouth expression, which she alwiz does, besides sticking out her tongue n frowning... Me look kinda huge compared to Dearie =(

On 1 Jul (her official 1st month), Dearie took leave and we brot Charlotte for her Hep B jab @ MAH. As usual, the nurse took her weight, height n head circumference. She has gained 1kg n weighs 4.7kg now, grown 7cm n measures 57cm now n her head circumference has increased by 2cm to 37cm. Generally, she's growing well but Dr Ng said she still had v mild jaundice... He suggested conducting a blood test on her to determine whether itz breastmilk jaundice or liver infection... Luckily, itz onli breastmilk jaundice, which Dr Ng said would gradually go off by itself n nt to worry too much... Me asked if itz my diet which might have contributed to her mild jaundice... He said nope n reminded me to continue having a balanced diet... Charlotte was very brave, enduring 2 needle "invasions" - Hep B jab n blood test! Our hearts went out to her thou when we saw her crying @ the pain... but Dearie said she's a brave ger!

We oso went to Jin Yi Shi for my 1st visit after my confinement... Jin Yi Shi said Charlotte looks like her daddy, Dearie said nt gd n hopes she'll grow up to look more like her mummy instead... haha! My blood pressure is slightly low, dat probably explains the giddiness me been feeling lately... Actually, b4 my pregnancy, my blood pressure was slightly on the low side n datz y me din hv high blood pressure during my pregnancy... She oso mentioned when Charlotte turns 4-5 months, me may start losing hair... Oh dear... Hope wun lose too much n will make my thick hair lighter!?!

We oso brot Charlotte to Guan Yin Temple where Dearie offered his thanks to Guan Yin for my safe delivery of Charlotte as well as let her bai bai Guan Yin... After that, we brot her to Bugis Junction, wanting to expose her more to crowds so that she wun grow up afraid of unfamiliar surroundings/faces... She'll open her eyes n look curiously around the surroundings n environment when we carried her around Bugis Junction... Luckily, there's a proper nursing room within BHG... Indeed, finding the exact location of nursing rooms within shopping centres is our top priority nw, cos when she's hungry or dirty, we hv to quickly find one to nurse or change her diapers...

In the evenings, b4 heading home, we brot her to West Coast Park, hoping to let her take in more fresh air... Having her in a stroller while we walked around WCP was v nice n relaxing... We were still able to walk side by side, hand in hand, enjoying the sea breeze.... Made it a point that we mustn't neglect each other despite having a baby n probable baby blues nw...

This was our first proper outing after my confinement =)
