We took leave on last Thur, 12 Mar 09, mainly to have some time to ourselves and to watch "Watchmen"... It was our pak tor day, cos since Baobei came into our lives, our lives had basically revolved around Baobei (not that we are complaining, we are very very very very happy to have Baobei in our lives actually) and we thought why not take leave to watch a movie and spend time together as a couple... =)
We dropped Baobei @ my in-laws a bit later in the morning... After that, we went to Holland V Swensens for breakfast... When I was still pregnant with Baobei, we used to have breakfast at United Square Swensens on every Sunday before going to my parents' place for lunch... Now, our Sundays are usually Baobei's morning walks by Dearie, while me do housework, then breakfast which Dearie will buy on the way back from their walks, then followed by lunch at my parents' place before we go home to rest in the late afternoons... On Saturdays, it will be bak kut teh breakfast with my in-laws before we bring Baobei for shopping. =)
After breakfast, we went to Plaza Singapura where we watched "Watchmen"... quite a different kind of superhero film... looking forward to "Wolverine" and "Transformers II", which Dearie had said we would also be watching at cinemas =) The movie took around 160 minutes. After the movie, we had lunch at Ajisen =) yum yum! Had been craving for Ajisen ramen for quite some time, and didn't know that the outlet at Funan had closed down until Dearie wanted to meet me there for lunch a few weeks back... the ramen still tasted the same, just as delicious =)
All in all, a nice pak tor dae =)
