simply amazing... to feel a life growing inside me... =) feeling slight bumps n movements in my tummy more n more often nowadays... Dearie felt a slightly bigger bump last weekend n kinda shouted in excitement... haha! told our little one nt 2b afraid, jus daddy being super excited n happi... hee!
bot more maternity dresses @ Perfect Mum @ Suntec... Mum told me to wear more dresses cos tummy getting bigger... Jin Yi Shi oso said to wear dresses more often cos nt gd to 'obstruct' lower tummy wif pants even thou pants hv elastic waistband... cos wil obstruct healthy growth of our little one...
received comments from colligs dat me looked cute in maternity dresses... =P Mum oso said betta 2b in dresses than pants cos more loose n comfy... MIL oso looked abit amused whn me wore dresses to meet her... haha! but me stil prefer pants n capris, cos easier to move around... think wil alternate between pants n dresses lah...
ydae was Dearie's sis's bdae... my DIL, who had nt seen me for 2 weeks, on seeing me, immediately remarked "OMG! U hv grown!" aiyo... me felt so paiseh.... my MIL immediately chided him for saying dis, cos scaring me... haha! =)
but me enjoy being preggers, jus worried abt pain during delivery... n the traumas of my third trimester, which is approaching soon....
rem me said me felt our little one move n asked Dearie to try feeling the movements? well, Dearie had alwiz said he cldnt feel much...
but last weekend, Dearie felt sth! me again felt our little one move n thot me felt a slight bump appear on my tummy whn me placed my hand on it... asked Dearie to try n he oso felt a slight bump!! hee! so miraculous! nw, Dearie can oso feel the movement, stronger than b4... =)
but my tummy is getting v itchy again.... n fingers jus cant stop scratching it so as to relieve the itch... sometimes, wil wake up in the middle of the nite n start scratching my tummy.... nid to stop or else may end up wif scratch marks, or even worse, scars! Dr Lui gave me medicine n ointment, but stil v itchy... =( MIL n colligs said cos tummy stretching, so itchy n itz normal... but stil... sighz...
our little one is nw 139mm long... mum, MIL n colligs said my tummy v big... think cos both Dearie n me tall, so our little one mus oso b v tall... haha! but both of us r scared it may jus b opp, cos of regression to the mean... =P
yeah! we're gg on our cruise tomorrow! =) no doubt itz a cruise to nowhere, over the weekend whr we board Virgo Star Cruise tomorrow evening n return to Singapore on Sun morn... but stil considered a first time on board cruise for me! =)
so excited! the cruise actualli forbids pregnant women more than 24 weeks into their pregnancy on board! luckily, me onli 20 weeks pregnant, so can stil go... but Dearie scared we may b asked on boarding, so we asked Dr Lui to write me a letter, which is actualli onli a EDD letter, stating my EDD n personal particulars n Dr Lui's signature... =)
toking abt travelling, Dearie wil b gg for a conference in Mar to Dallas, US! me had wanted to go... but wil b way into my 3rd trimester by then, so cant go... a bit sad... but Dearie said wil bring our little one n me to US Disneyland in future... so as to make sure Dearie kips to his word, me made him write down his promise in our Story Of Us, sorta journal whr we write down our special moments... hee! in dis case, he wun b able to escape... haha!
our little one was v obedient on Mon... he/she realli lay face-up during the scan! however, the umbilical cord was jus @ the pelvis area, blocking the critical area determining the sex... Dr Lui tried v hard 2c, hoping dat the cord might shift... alas, it did not shift... but Dr Lui said he thought it might b a ger, but din dare to confirm anything... so gues we nid to wait til my detailed scan @ NUH on 31 Jan to noe the sex...
cos our little one was v obedient, n we promised him/her to shop for coloured items after my check-up on Mon, we decided to go shopping... =P
@ Perfect Mum @ Suntec City, me bot new clothes for CNY... 3 dresses, 2 tops n 1 pair of shorts =) Opp Perfect Mum, we oso bot a car seat organizer, whr we can put baby stuff in it while the organizer is hung @ the back of the front seat... quite useful, Dearie has nw hung it in the car!
cant find suitable infant clothes @ Suntec City... so we decided to make a stop @ United Square for baby items shopping... signed up for Mums & Babes membership n bot more items for baby =)
1) 1 yellow top (neutral colour since cant confirm sex yet)
2) 1 yellow one-piece suit
3) 2 swaddle (1 yellow, 1 blue)
4) 1 packet of cloth diapers (10 pc)
5) 1 box of diaper linings (150 pc)

wif the membership, we can get as much as 12% discount (depending of the colour of the price tags)... so quite worth it, since United Square is so near our plc n we shld b getting more baby items....
been a while since me update my blog... been quite bz lately n hvn had time to realli log onto internet...
19 weeks todae... started hvg leg cramps @ nites... painful! luckily itz alwiz cramp in 1 leg onli, nt both legs @ the same time! oredi unbearable, opened my eyes n started screaming for Dearie who wld hv to cm n massage my leg... the pain might go off aft the massage but there wld stil b soreness in my leg whn me flexed my ankles... sighz...
felt my tummy ballooning... ppl hv been speculating dat it cld b a ger (cos of the flesh around my waist n itz shyness in showing us itz sex during my 4th month check-up) but some commented itz a boy (cos tummy quite pointed)... oh well, we r oso excited in knowing itz sex! =) once we noe itz sex, can start buying coloured items! wil b gg for next check-up on nxt Mon, 14 Jan morn... we hv both taken leave, may go shopping for coloured items if we noe itz sex! =)) been toking n soothing our little one to show us on mon... =)

1) Tiger Airpot @ Taka @ $139. The dispenser spoilt upon purchase, had to go to Heap Seng for repair... wld nid it to warm up milk for baby =)
2) Medela Pump In Style off Auction @ $300. A brand new set costs $754... our auctioned set cms wif the complete set but we wil purchase a new set of the bottles, tubes, membranes etc, for personal hygiene...
3) Pigeon Sterilizer off Auction @ $40. Still quite new!
4) Philips Baby Monitor off Auction @ $60. Still workable n pretty new!
5) Pre-Natal Heartbeat Listener FOC, fr the auction sellers of the sterilizer n baby monitor. Had initially wanted to buy it @ the Baby Hyperstore, but find it too ex @ $100+, nt worth it... So, quite happy to get it free! We tried @ hm, heard a few bumps n tiny heartbeats, shld b that of our little one... so cute! =) The sounds wil b stronger in my 6th month, according to the instruction manual.
6) Maxi-Cosi Baby Car Seat @ Baby Hyperstore @ $233. Black wif orange borders, great cushioning effect for our little one too.
7) Peg-Perego PlikoP3 Stroller @ Baby Hyperstore @ $500. Red. Pretty impressed by its sturdiness n easy handling. Initially had our mind set on buying the Combi Stroller, but seems like Combi is lighter n nt as sturdy...
8) Baby Cot @ Baby Hyperstore @ $299. Topping up $40 wil get us a Classic Pooh Comforter Set... of course, we got it too!
Hee! So most of the bulky items hv been bot... nw left other smaller items, like bathtub, milk bottles, clothes, pampers, milk powder etc...
our little one received a 1st xmas gift last Friday during the xmas exchange wif the PA gers. ChangLing Jie-Jie gave him/her a pair of mittens n infant cap, all white in colour as we dunno the sex yet =) so surprised to receive it! on behalf of our little one again, "THANK U, CHANGLING JIE-JIE!" =))
watz more, me oso received gift fr CL during the gift exchange... such a coincidence that d big n little one received from the same Santa Claus!

our colt plus underwent a makeover 2 Fridays ago on 21 Dec 07. =) Dearie has alwiz been a fan of Transformers, esp Optimus Prime. he has got a glass cabinet full of Primes, which he calls his Prime Collection... so needless to say, u might hv guessed it correctly... our colt plus underwent a makeover n becomes Coltimus Prime! =)
